We're getting married (again!)

Once upon a time, on a random Thursday in Lexington, Kentucky, fate brought us together in the weight room of Nutter Field House. We say random because Gabby wasn’t supposed to be back in Lexington yet [It was summer break, and her coaches didn't expect them back until June], and Zack's team workout had finished for the morning. Despite this, she decided to return a week early to prepare for the intense training ahead of her junior volleyball season, while Zack did what he normally would—stayed late to get extra work in on the bike. It’s true what they say: sometimes the smallest decisions can change your life forever. Little did we know, these simple decisions would lead us to the love of our lives. It just seems right that our shared dedication to our athletic careers (and mission in life) paired with being in the right place at the right time set the stage for our beautiful journey together. Zack and Gabby decided to elope on October 7, 2023 with plans of a ceremony following. To honor our parents, our extended family, and our friends, we decided to “renew” our vows by having a traditional wedding to celebrate our new life together with our favorite people.
