Please RSVP by Sunday, March 30th.
If your RSVP says "and Guest," then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.
The ceremony starts promptly at 2:30, so please arrive at 2pm.
Casual Dress Attire: Wear linen pants, slacks, short or long sleeved button downs, blouses, maxi dresses, sundresses, jumpers. Please no Tshirts or shorts. As there are indoor and outdoor components, please dress appropriately for the weather.
Yes! The kiddos are a big part of the family, and are welcome! We will have lots of activities during the reception for the kiddos (and anyone else :) )
Weather permitting we will be outdoors for the ceremony with indoor and outdoor components for the reception.
We are having an unplugged ceremony, so please put your phones away during the ceremony. We have a professional photographer and you will just get in the way. We encourage photos during the reception and would appreciate you capturing fun moments from your perspective.
The wedding is a dry event. We are not allowed to have alcohol on the premises so there will be no alcohol served and there should be no outside alcohol brought in.
We will be providing a variety of hearty hors d'oeuvres and finger foods for you to enjoy throughout the evening.
We will miss you! Please indicate your regrets on the RSVP so we can ensure an accurate guest count.
Garden City does not have many hotels, but there are quite a few Airbnb, rental homes, etc. Additionally, the venue (Sunrise Resort and Event Center) has hotel rooms on site. Logan, 45 minutes away has plenty of options. However it is graduation weekend for the university, so we recommend finding accommodations early, as we are not providing accommodations.
Having you there is gift enough, but if you'd like to give us a gift we'd really appreciate it if you'd stick to the registry. We don't have an apartment lined up after getting married yet, and likely won't have room for every kitchen appliance known to man. Additionally, we are leaving for our honeymoon directly after the wedding, so any gifts brought to the wedding will pose a challenge to get home. So, we have picked out some travel experiences we'd appreciate, and some physical items we know we will be needing. Those are located in the registry tab.
Yes, we are huge Star Wars nerds. Yes we are getting married on Star Wars day. No, there will not be costumes. Lightsabers are optional. Blasters are so uncivilized.
