Question

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

The closest airport is the Grand Junction Region Airport (GJT). Another option is Montrose (MTJ) which is about an hour and 15 mins away from Grand Junction. The Denver International Airport (DIA) is about 4.5 hours drive from Grand Junction and it is a mountain drive. The Salt Lake City Airport is also about a 4.5 hours drive from GJ.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

We have decided to not do a hotel block. There are MANY hotels on Horizon Drive right by the airport/freeway. These are also very close to our reception venue. Airbnbs are also a great option, especially if you want to spend a little extra time in our beautiful town :)

Can I bring a plus one? Are my children invited?

Answer

Please check your invitation for who all is invited. We were limited on space for plus ones, but tried to include almost all the children. Kids are such a gift and would love to have them celebrate with us!

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal. We suggest men wear a suit in any color and women wear a cocktail or long dress or a nice pantsuit. We would also love it if everyone tried to dress in fall colors. As our ceremony will be inside a Catholic Church we ask that guests keep modesty in mind when selecting what to wear.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

For our wedding Mass, we ask that you let our photographer be the one to take photos out of reverence to the sacrament taking place. After the ceremony and at the reception, you are more than welcome to take photos!

I am not Catholic, can I still come to the Mass?

Answer

YES!!! We view the wedding Mass as the most important part of the day. We would love for you to celebrate with us and witness us entering into the sacrament of matrimony. We will have detailed programs for everyone to follow along, with helpful notes about what is taking place.
