Looking for a touch of fall fun? Terhune Orchards is a beautiful stop! While not as big as some of the orchards up where Zach grew up, it's got a cozy farm feel, wines and ciders to try, and a cute farm store!
The Dunne Family FAVORITE pizza. Decades of patronage, starting after Dick Dunne graduated college. Kelsey remembers going here after soccer games with teammates and their families in elementary school. It is a must-visit if you need good pizza.
Looking for a quick bite before the ceremony? Kelsey's favorite pizza place in her hometown is just 2 blocks away from the church! Stop in for one of her favorite slices - plain or white broccoli - or for the fan favorite - buffalo chicken pizza.
Driving home and hitting the road early? You can't go wrong with Pennington Bagel (or P Bagel to locals!). Get a pork roll, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. Get a cinnamon sugar bagel. Or a french toast bagel. Or an asiago onion bagel. Or a blueberry bagel. Fun cream cheeses, butters, and dozens of sandwich options. Great for breakfast or lunch!
Walk along the Delaware River Canal! On the NJ side of the Delaware river, there is a beautiful little walking and biking path. Very flat, easy walk if you just want to enjoy the fall foliage.
Visiting for a few days and have some down time? Head a little north and check out New Hope & Lambertville. The two towns on either side of the Delaware River are great for food, shopping, and just quaint town vibes. The bridge between the two towns has a pedestrian path for safe travel. (The picture on this page is from that bridge!)
Arriving on Friday with nothing to do? Go to opening night of Sweeney Todd at Music Mountain Theatre in Lambertville, NJ. Kelsey worked for MMT in their inaugural season, and the company has continued to feel like a family to her. The theatre is thriving in their community. If you want to see them on opening night, get your tickets sooner rather than later. If you are hanging out on Sunday, they have a matinee as well!
Nancy Dunne's favorite store! If you're looking around Pennington, stop in this cute neighborhood store. Jewelry, pretty home decor items, baby clothes and toys, etc.
