Engagement Video 11.23.26
We met while working together at Walmart. In the beginning, she wouldn’t even entertain much conversation with me, and getting more than a short response felt like a win. But over time, things slowly changed. She started opening up, conversations got easier, and before we knew it, we had become really close friends. Eventually, I made the first move, and we went on our first date which, to be honest, was pretty awkward. She was shy, and I was trying my best to say all the right things. Looking back now, it’s one of our favorite memories because it was the start of everything. I realized she was the one when being around her started to feel like home. She made it easy for me to be completely myself, and that feeling only grew stronger with time. When we had our son, seeing her become a mother made it even clearer that she was the person I wanted to spend my life with. The proposal happened at RH Rooftop after a dinner together. On our way out, I asked a stranger to take a photo of us, quietly telling him what I was about to do. Instead of taking pictures, he pressed record. As I positioned her slightly in front of me, I stepped back, got down on one knee, and asked her to marry me, capturing a moment we’ll cherish forever.
