Defiance, Missouri
A charming riverside town just outside St. Louis, Defiance is known for its scenic views and popular wineries like Chandler Hill (our wedding venue!), Sugar Creek, Montelle, and Nobeleis. It’s also a great spot to walk or bike along the Katy Trail, a beautiful trail that follows the Missouri River through rolling hills and vineyards.

With multiple locations around St. Louis, Katie’s is one of our absolute favorites and a place where we celebrate many birthdays and holidays. Known for its delicious pizzas, fresh pasta, and cozy atmosphere, it’s a great spot for a memorable meal with family and friends.
Soulard Farmers Market
One of the oldest farmers markets in the country, Soulard Farmers Market is a lively spot filled with local vendors, fresh food, and unique finds. After the market, take a stroll through the surrounding historic French neighborhood, home to charming streets and many popular bars and pubs perfect for exploring.

Located in Flint Hill, this is our local go-to brewery and a true community favorite. Friendship Brewing offers a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with a rotating selection of craft beers.
Anheuser-Busch St. Louis Brewery
Take a tour of this historic brewery and see where Budweiser has been brewed since 1852. Walk through beautiful red-brick buildings, learn about the brewing process, meet the famous Clydesdales, and enjoy a complimentary beer at the end of the tour. 🍻
The Gateway Arch
An iconic symbol of St. Louis, the Gateway Arch is part of the Gateway Arch National Park. Take a tram ride to the top for breathtaking views of the city and the Mississippi River, and explore the museum below to learn about the history of westward expansion.
