We met in August 2024, just days after Clara moved to Kansas City. She had been in the city for less than a week, so naturally, I put my tour guide hat on - hoping to sell her on both Kansas City and me. Our first date started at Swordfish Tom’s and somehow continued to an arcade bar, which in hindsight told us everything we needed to know. One date turned into a few more pretty quickly, and it became clear we were onto something. Taking Clara to a Chiefs home opener sealed the deal, or at least made it very hard for her to say no. Not long after, my work relocated us to Dallas. We have spent the past year building our lives side by side. Kansas City was where it all started, and we are excited to make our way back there as we start our next chapter!
