FAQs

The Wedding Website of Zachary Smith and Victoria Brown
Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

All guests invited to the wedding will be directly addressed in the formal invitation. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any other plus-ones, and we greatly appreciate your cooperation with this!

Question

Are children allowed at the ceremony or reception?

Answer

This will be an adults-only event. Unless indicated on your formal invitation, we kindly request that alternative arrangements are made for your little ones for the night/weekend. Additionally, as our wedding is at a distillery, there are age restrictions in place we must abide by in order to be compliant with our venue. Thank you so much for your understanding.

Question

Are phones allowed during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that all cellphones be placed on silent and stored away during the ceremony in order for everyone be present, enjoy the moment, and avoid ruining the pictures our wonderful photographer is taking. We wouldn't have hired such a talented photographer if we didn't think she'd do a wonderful job. If you feel unable to follow these instructions, please reconsider or you will be asked to leave the ceremony space (likely by the bride herself). Following the conclusion of the ceremony, cell phones are more than welcome!

Question

Can I change my RSVP choices?

Answer

We ask that you please follow through with your RSVP choices. We understand that emergencies happen and ask that you reach out directly to the bride and groom. For the distillery tours we have hired a guide on the day to provide our family and friends with a unique experience. We are thrilled to share this experience with you and encourage everyone to take part! The tour will be roughly 10 to 15 minutes and is designed to give our guests a deeper insight into our love of the Bourbon Trail and Copper & Kings.

Question

You said I should come here for further details on the dress code?

Answer

You've arrived at the right place! For the welcome party, prohibition & single life are done! We're taking it to the 1920s to celebrate the end of one era and into the next. Think sparkles, fringe, pinstripes, feathers, and fedoras. Have fun and get into character with these fits! Please see the attached pinterest board for inspiration. For the ceremony & reception, we're excited to have our friends and family flaunt their best looks. We're sticking to the vibe of the distillery and requesting cocktail attire. For those leaning towards a dapper look, this requires a collared dress shirts with ties and jackets highly suggested though lighter fabric are welcome (and suggested for the May weather). For the avant-garde, knee-length or longer dresses or dressy separates are encouraged. Vibrant colors, sparkles, sequins, print, and textures are welcome and encouraged. Please see the attached pinterest board for more inspiration! A note from the bride: white, beige, ivory, champagne, or other variants are NOT allowed for the ceremony and reception. Those unable to follow this request will be asked to change. The bride will be in a white dress and the only one in white the day of the wedding. <3

Question

Is it really a "Big Deal" if I give my underage family member/friend alcohol?

Answer

Yes. It really is a big deal if you provide anyone underage alcohol at any point throughout the duration of the evening. There are strict laws in place regarding underage drinking while on property and you will be removed from the festivities.

Question

Can I smoke on property?

Answer

No. You cannot smoke on property at any point throughout the evening. The distillery is an active worksite with copious amounts of flammable ethanol and we agreed to follow their safety regulations. Please, don't be silly.

Question

What else should I know about the wedding?

Answer

We're so excited to share our day with you as all of our friends and family have shaped the love that we share and the marriage we are building. We ask that you attend with that same level of enthusiasm and openness for love. It is important to both Zach & Tori to live their values and create a space that is inclusive for all gender identities, LGBTQ+ relationships, ethnicities, and races. If you are unable to support this you will not be comfortable at this wedding, please consider other arrangements.
