The first recollection that I (zach) have of Taisa was in Wednesday Night Puppets. Both of us have had the opportunity to serve in this ministry since 2013 and 2014.

This is one of the first pictures I have of Taisa. Of course it's behind the puppet stage. (Zach)

We got to know each other better as friends when I directed The Jungle Book for Dramatic Productions. Taisa was Kaa the rock snake.

Fort Pickens Adventure

Taisa was able to come up to Georgia for Thanksgiving this year. We're at the Christmas tree farm picking out a tree for my parent's house.

The day of the big question we were having family pictures done at my brother's church.

I wanted to ask her outside, but it didn't look like that was going to happen.

Thankfully the weather cleared up just in time for us to get a few pictures outside. I also had to change because the ring was with my change of clothes. (Zach)

She didn't suspect a thing. (neither did the photographer, oops)

I asked the photographer for one more picture. (really it was quite a few more, ha)

Pure shock. :D

She kept asking if I was serious..

Then she saw the ring.

And then she was as nervous as I was.

She said Yes!

The Photographer said "now there's so many more options!"

When we went outside I asked my sister in sign language if she could video. She told my mom that she thinks it happening now. Commence the rest of my family pressing themselves up to the glass to see.

This was when my nieces and nephews were released after finding out the news. (Zach)
