Atlanta Braves at The Battery ATL
Entertainment - During the weekend of our wedding, the Braves take on the Houston Astros at home! Grab tickets or just explore the Battery district which features fan favorite restaurants, exclusive shopping, entertainment options, and live music venues.
Chastain Park
Entertainment - Chastain Park is one of Atlanta's hidden gems. The public park features a golf course, Cadence Bank Amphitheatre, multiple sports facilities, nature trails, and a Michelin Green Star Restaurant: The Chastain.
City Springs Theatre Company
Entertainment - This is one of our favorite date nights! City Springs Theater company is kicking off their 2025-2026 season at Byers Theatre during our wedding weekend with "The Producers".
Dunwoody Nature Center
Entertainment - If you are coming to our Farewell Brunch, you will get a chance to see the Dunwoody Nature Center. The park features low-intensity trials, tons of gorgeous scenery, bird feeders, and plenty of other fun elements. For kids, there is a great playground!
Perimeter Mall
Entertainment - Just across the perimeter of Atlanta is Perimeter Mall. The mall features plenty of shopping and casual restaurants such as: Chipotle, Pei Wei, and Shake Shack.
Vickery Creek Trail at Roswell Mill
Entertainment - This is one of our favorite places to hike in Roswell. The trail features remnants of the Old Roswell Mill, a beautiful scenic bridge over the Chattahoochee, plenty of waterfalls and quite a bit of wildlife. We commonly find woodpeckers, nuthatches, and titmice among others.
Battle & Brew
Food & Drinks - Battle & Brew is a gamer's dream. Aside from a fun menu featuring adventurous dishes with video game inspired names ("The Mushroom Kingdom Burger", "Cowboy Bibimbap Bowl", and "Triforce Nachos"), the bar features a ton of video gaming spaces, potion-style cocktails, and a wall of traditional board games.
Distillery of Modern Art
Food & Drinks - One of the most beautiful distilleries in Georgia is The Distillery of Modern Art. The entire distillery is designed with artists such as Kandinsky and Rothko in mind. The tour is a fun experience that starts with a cocktail in their Watson Gallery. Two of our favorites are the Peach Amaro and Nouveau Gin.
Kid Cashew
Food & Drinks - Almost without fail before every City Springs show, we go out to dinner at Kid Cashew. The wood-fire grill, Mediterranean restaurant has some of our favorites like: Butterless Brussels Sprouts, Wood-Fire Portobello Gyro, and the Quinoa-Stuffed Avocado.
Lucky's Burger & Brew
Food & Drinks - Lucky's is a great for families and big groups. The backyard is always fun to sit in and a common pick for Coleman Friend Dinners. Of all the burgers on the menu, Sarah's favorite is probably the Dessert Burger (an ice cream-topped brownie between two chocolate chip cookies) served with funnel cake fries.
Superica
Food & Drinks - An Atlanta staple for fun Mexican food and margaritas. Zac usually goes for the crispy avocado tacos while Sarah orders enchiladas. The big hit is always the two free salsas.
Village Burger
Food & Drinks - Village Burger is a must-stop after any hike in the Dunwoody area or meetup after Sarah teaches Hebrew School. There are no frills: this is just a great burger joint that also has fried pickles and onion rings.
Yalda
Food & Drinks - Yalda is an amazing Persian restaurant. It's a great choice for an upscale dinner with incredible kebabs, rices, dips, and falafel.
