Hey friends and family, Samya here. Note: Zach doesn't know I am writing this so it'll be our little secret until he finds out :) Two and a half years ago, I met Zach at Southcliff Church where I served at the time. This cute and handsome man caught my attention as soon as he walked in the Loft, but of course, I couldn't let him know that. Naturally, I went about my day as if no total-cutie had come visit and gave him a standard greeting. Our first conversation followed at the Super Bowl party, where my avid trash-talk was met with a very gentle and kind return. I'll be honest, I didn't really know what to do at first but it turned out to be a very pleasant conversation. At the time, both of us were undergoing different stages the Lord had for us. But oh how God's plan are better than ours! In the last 2.5 years our friend groups merged. We spent a lot of time together in the summer of 2021 (shoutout to that crew). During that summer, Zach asked for help in the youth ministry at his church. I was captivated by the people of Connell Baptist Church and it didn't take long for me to receive confirmation that I ought to join that church. It also didn't take long for camp and VBS to bring us closer. By the first day of class, as an answer to prayer, Zach asked me out to my total (but wished upon) surprise. Our friendship has grown sweet and sweeter each day. We believe the Lord brought us together, and I am deeply thankful for His kindness in that way. Note: Some of you may be laughing at this bit, and go ahead- I don't blame you. I wasn't sure I would get married before my thirties either ;) To Zach... I love you, and I'm looking forward to being your wife and adventure-buddy for life.
