We’re doing the damn thing!

Well credit is due where credit is due. Zach always knew. Over 15 years ago we met at good ole Bay Terrace shopping center. Zach had the courage then to ask for a date and stubborn me took some convincing but agreed. But that’s where it ended. We are still not sure why or how but it didn’t last long. We both went our separate ways and separate lives. But as we both believe everything happens for a reason. We had to loose each other in order to truly find each other. We both found our place in the world by becoming an EMT for the FDNY and a special education teacher for the DOE. As confident and independent adults we tried one more time. Yes once again, Zach had the courage to say “I’m going to try this one more time, will you go out with me?” Well there it is, the rest is history and less than 6 months later we were engaged and finally with our person. This time we will never let go!
