Matron of Honor
My big (little) sister, who has been there for me since day one. She is the glue that keeps our family together. Although she often acts as my second mother, I am grateful for her constant support and always being there for me no matter what I ask. I cried standing next to her on her wedding day, and now I cant wait for her to stand by my side.
Best Man
Mac and I met playing basketball in high school and have been like brothers ever since. From staying out of trouble in Broomfield to long phone calls when he lived in Indiana trying to get him back to Colorado. I am appreciative of his constant support and always having a great time together, regardless of where we are. I was lucky enough to stand by him on his wedding day and I am looking forward to him standing by mine.
Maid of Honor
We were introduced through our wonderfully unique mutual friend Jade, we bonded over late nights, trance music, and being birthday twins. Our bond has strengthened through our special experiences at Burning Man. Our long-distance best friendship is full of love and support for each other. Stella is one of the best people I know, she is a rock in my life and serves as one of the best support systems I could ask for. My wedding day wouldn't be complete without her by my side.
Groomsman
Kaleb is my oldest friend. Growing up, Kaleb's home was kind of like my second home, at times. We have always had each other's back from the beginning and will always be grateful for his friendship. After meeting in middle school we went on to play high school basketball and soccer to living together in Boulder. We now are a duo on the golf course, with me carrying him, just kidding, Kaleb is the best golfer I have played with.
Bridesmaid
We met as sorority sisters at Uconn, and our friendship has grown from messy nights, to supporting each other through all that life has thrown at us post-college. In 2016, we decided to pick up and move from Connecticut to Denver together and the rest is history. Our friendship has grown from jungle-themed college parties to backpacking trips and 20 mile National Park Hikes. Marlena has always been a constant in my life, she is one of the most thoughtful and caring people I know and I couldn't imagine my wedding day without her by my side.
Groomsman
We met freshman year at the University of Colorado in Boulder and share our birthday together - 12/21/89. We have had an abundance of adventures together, some close calls, and some legendary nights. From barely surviving our first Vegas trip as 21-year-olds, to having a night out in San Antonio, where we had a late-night feast at my grandmother's, to the youthful college shenanigans. Justin has always been someone that has had people naturally gravitate towards him and I have always admired that about him.
Bridesmaid
We had an instant connection when she was doing the Stanky leg at my first Theta social. She became my first friend at UCONN. Our friendship has grown through living together, many wonderful girls' trips, and being there through all of life's biggest moments. This friendship has a true no judgement zone. Janeice is fiercely loyal and always tells it as it is. Although we live across the country from each other, our bond hasn't changed. I can't wait for the sass and wit she will bring to my wedding.
Groomsman
We met at CU and lived on the same floor our freshman year together. We were always like-minded in the way that we treated others around us. Andy has always been a friend that I could go to for support and I will always cherish that. We have a mutual passion for traveling the world and exploring new things which I can't wait to do as we continue to get older.
Bridesmaid
We met during my favorite Colorado tradition, our 4th of July Camping Trip! Since then we have been inseparable. I never imagined meeting a best friend in your 30s, but Jess has become that person. Jess not only is the best listener, but she also has the most adorable laugh and is a jello-shot connoisseur. I am grateful for her friendship.
Groomsman
We met through Rebecca and all of the transplants that have invaded Colorado. We were ski buddies first, and that friendship progressed into a strong bond shortly thereafter. We have been to Japan together and had numerous unforgettable memories of camping and skiing trips. Matt is a go-to friend for support and celebrations. Matt always knows when it's time to get after it.
Bridesmaid
Hannah is Zach's little sister. I couldn't of imagined a better sister-in-law. We had an instant connection over tacos and margs. We share a love of whooping Zach's butt in all games. Hannah is one of the most bubbly, kind-hearted, beautiful people I know. I am lucky to be able to call her a sister and a friend.
Groomsman
Corey is Rebecca's older brother. I am super grateful to have a brother-in-law that approaches life the way Corey does, with swagger. We have been to Japan, a trip that will be the highlight of my life until Rebecca and I's wedding day. Corey is that older brother that I have always wanted and never had. But am lucky to getting one now.
Bridesman
If someone had told me on the day we met that Rubin would be standing next to me at my wedding, I would have laughed. We met being co-chairs for Homecoming at Uconn wanting to kill each other most of the time. Yet somehow we formed an incredibly strong friendship through our mutual love of music and neon colors. Before I met Zach, Rubin was the go-to-man in my life for advice. Although Zach is that person now, Rubin will always hold a special place in my heart.
Groomsman
Shibs (David) was my mentor when we met at Galvanize, where we were both looking to break into software. We instantly bonded over these complex technical problems and beer, who doesn't love that combo. I never thought me asking for him to be my mentor during a coding boot camp would have lead to such a great friendship. He is one of the most thoughtful and interesting people I have ever met.
Flower Girl
My adorable niece, Amanda's daughter.
Officiant
We met at CU as he was our "Coach" for our intramural basketball team. Coach has always been that little brother that constantly annoys you but somehow still stuck around. Coach was a roommate before Rebecca and I moved in together, he knows both us and our relationship very well. A big reason why we are excited to have him marry us as husband and wife.
