We've hiked this trail many times and it's one of our favorites! Great anytime of the year. In fact, we did this hike right before we got engaged...through feet of snow! We've also been in the heat of summer, through pouring rain, and in the beautiful fall.
This is a pretty easy hike...not too much elevation gain for our out-of-town guests! An oldie but goodie!
Fun to walk around, visit San Felipe de Neri church, get some New Mexican food!
A trip to Casa RondeƱa Winery will send you into the thicket of the Rio Grande Bosque. Among the cottonwoods sits a bit of Spain. The breathtaking beauty of the architecture paired with the complexity and finesse of the wines will leave you wondering if you've been transported out of Albuquerque.
This is a delicious cafe with a few locations in Albuquerque. I (Rachel) used to work there and everyone who goes loves it! All their lattes are good, their french toast is my absolute favorite, and their New Mexican breakfasts are hard to beat!
Sadie's serves up some authentic New Mexican food...but beware of the spice level! Highly recommended to stop by for a true New Mexican experience. Fair warning: their plates are huge!!
We went to dinner here before Zac proposed!
Rachel and I's favourite Honkey Tonk to go Country Dancing at!
Rachel and I's favourite Gelateria!
