Is there a dress code?

Answer

Attire is semi-formal, but anything from tuxedoes and gowns, to suits and sundresses are welcome!

How do I get to the venue?

The address is listed here on our website and on our invitation. We recommend you use GPS and arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony to make sure we can get the party started as scheduled!

We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is a very limited number (approximately 10) of parking spaces directly in front of the venue. Once those are full, parking is available on adjacent streets in the neighborhood that surround the venue.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Last year on July 7th, the high was 73F (23C) and the low was 63F (17C). Please know that it can sometimes rain during the summer in Stuttgart, please be prepared for this (unlikely) possibility.

Can I bring a date?

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget and will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

We’ll have an aperitif followed by a sit-down dinner with speeches and toasts, followed by an evening of fun and dancing!

What type of food and drink will be served during the aperitif and reception?

Answer

Following the ceremony, we will be serving drinks during the aperitif hour. Afterward, we will have a sit-down dinner that features an open buffet, as well as a bar with a full selection of non-alcoholic drinks, beer, wine, and some special cocktails.

Can I take and post photos of the wedding online?

Answer

Yes, of course! We just ask that you please stay off your phones during the ceremony and do not take any photos. We want everyone to be present for the ceremony. Please feel free to take pictures and video at the reception!

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is present enough, but should you want to get us something, we’d kindly ask that you check out our registry and ship directly to us in the US.
