Where should I stay?

Answer

A room block has been reserved for guests. Please call the Saybrook Point Inn front desk at (860) 395-2000 and request a room for the Federowicz (Feh-Door-O-Wits) wedding. The deadline to reserve is September 17, 2026.

What is the proper attire?

Answer

Formal attire calls for elegant, polished outfits that celebrate our special day. Men should wear a well-tailored suit in a dark or neutral color with a dress shirt, tie, and polished shoes. Women can choose a sophisticated cocktail dress, midi dress, or dressy separates in refined fabrics, paired with elegant accessories. Aim for a refined, festive look that’s comfortable for dining and dancing!

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

We respectfully request that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, allowing our professional photographers to capture those moments. Feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like during the reception!

Sorry kiddos, this wedding’s a no-crayon zone! The ceremony and reception are strictly for the grown-up chaos crew!

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Your wedding invitation will include a QR code. Use your smartphone to scan it and RSVP online, or visit the RSVP tab on our website. If you're not tech-savvy, ask a younger person to assist with scanning the QR code.

Where is the ceremony/reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both occur at Saybrook Point Resort & Marina. The ceremony will be outdoors on the marina-adjacent patio, while the reception will take place indoors in the resort’s ballroom.

Are there any pre- or post-wedding events?

Answer

Join us for an unforgettable afterparty to keep the celebration going! After the main reception, we’re heading to Fresh Salt at 10pm for more drinks and good vibes. Fresh Salt is located within Saybrook Point Inn, just a short stumble away from the ballroom.

Is transportation provided?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided or needed. A room block is reserved at the resort for guests. If you're not staying at the resort, we recommend arranging an Uber, a designated driver, or another form of transportation to return to your destination safely.
