How did we meet?

On August 24th 2019, we met at a birthday party. Zach and the other swimming/diving coaches were attending the head coach's party. It just so happens that the head swim coach was Melissa's Uncle.

Melissa tried to get Zach to go on a coffee date, but Zach saved the day with an exciting hike. During which they got (temporarily) lost and turned around multiple times because Zach was nervous in the presence of such a beautiful woman.

What about the proposal?
Answer
Zach caught Melissa completely off guard. He planned the proposal to be at the site of their first date in Eagle Creek State Park. That morning, Melissa was so confused as to why it seemed like he was hurrying to go on a hike. Zach had planned days in advance to have his friends hiding behind the trees with a camera to capture the moment as it happened. After the proposal, Zach took his new fiance` out for a wonderful dinner to celebrate their engagement.

Why Moontown for the wedding?
Answer
We were on the search for a new brewery to visit on the anniversary of our first date. When we arrived at Moontown we fell in love with the architecture and the industrial style from the moment we walked in. While we were there, we learned that they host weddings and we began to get interested. We scheduled a meeting with their event coordinator and came back the next day to take another look at the venue and we were sold.
