FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you let us know if you’ll be joining us by May 31 so we can finalize our plans. Your response means a lot to us, and we can’t wait to celebrate together!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends! Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. We kindly ask that you do not bring a plus one unless specifically indicated. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Black Tie Optional means you’re welcome to dress up, but it’s not required to go full tuxedo or formal gown. A tuxedo or formal evening gown is appropriate, but so are a dark suit and tie or a cocktail dress. Think elegant and festive—whatever makes you feel your best while celebrating with us!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you arrive a few minutes early to ensure everyone is seated and ready before the ceremony begins promptly at 5:00 PM. We can’t wait to see you there as we say “I do”!

Question

Parking

Answer

For the ceremony, parking will be available directly behind Reid Chapel, with signs to help guide you to the venue. For the reception at the Florentine Ballroom, we recommend using the public parking deck located at 2100 2nd Ave N, Birmingham, AL 35203, next to the City Federal building. Street parking is also available along 2nd Ave N and Richard Arrington Blvd. Please note that parking is free on weekends.
