In November 2021, Meghan and Zach met for their first date at Southern Tier Brewing Company in downtown Cleveland. Meghan had recently graduated from college and started her career at KeyBank, which happened to be where Zach worked too. With both of them walking the same hallways every day, fate didn’t stand a chance. Eventually, they matched, grabbed a drink, and never looked back. About eight months later, life threw in its first plot twist: Zach received a job offer in Nashville. Meghan & Zach spent the next year in a long-distance relationship filled with flights, weekend visits, and airport goodbyes - proving to each other (and everyone around them) that this was the real deal. It didn’t take long for Zach to realize that Cleveland & Meghan were home. He moved back, and they got their first place together in Lakewood. Their family officially grew in 2024 when they brought home their Bernedoodle, Wilson, who immediately took over all decision-making responsibilities. Then came September 27, 2024, the night Zach proposed. Wanting to surprise Meghan, he planned a date night at the Cleveland Museum of Art which was something they had talked about doing months earlier. Before dinner, they took a walk by Wade Lagoon, where Zach got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. It was perfect and yes, Meghan was actually surprised. The year that followed was a whirlwind: wedding planning, a new job for Meghan, and buying their first home. They spent the next few months painting every room and doing small projects, confirming that Zach will be her forever handyman, while Meghan now swears she will never paint again. Despite the chaos, Meghan & Zach still make time for the things they love most - long walks with Wilson, trying new date night spots, and spending quality time with family and friends. They are beyond excited to celebrate with everyone and officially begin their next chapter as husband and wife!
