Celebrate!

Zach and Mary met at Applebee's on September 17th, 2016. Their friend Danny introduced them and thought they might hit it off. They had dinner together and the next day became Facebook friends and started talking. On October 20th, 2016, he asked her to be his girlfriend and she said yes! From there they started seeing each other any spare time they had. Some of his friends joked that they were inseparable! Their dates consisted of fishing, truck pulls, going to the movies, and bowling.

In December 2018, Zach took Mary to Manistee for the Sleigh Bell Parade since that was their favorite activity to do together. They enjoyed the parade, getting hot chocolate, visiting their favorite winery, and watching fireworks together. They stopped at the beautifully lit Christmas tree in the downtown and Zach surprised Mary with the perfect proposal. Of course, she said yes!

In June 2019, Zach's mom Carrie was re-diagnosed with Leukemia. She fought hard for months in the hospital, but unfortunately there was nothing more the doctors could do. After this tragic news, Zach had a discussion with his mother about moving the wedding date so she could be there. Her response was she would like a small ceremony at her house so she could be with them, but she did not want them to cancel their original plans. Carrie loved her children and her wish was to see her youngest son get married. A ceremony was put together at Zach's family home on short notice with a small number of family present. Carrie passed shortly after the vows were exchanged on August 4th, 2019, knowing her son was in good hands.

Do to the circumstances surrounding the wedding, Mary and Zach were not able to have everyone attend. Following their original plan to have friends and family present, please join them to as they renew their vows and celebrate with a reception to follow!
