What is the requested dress code?

Answer

The attire for the evening will be cocktail. The church we are getting married in has asked guests to be a bit more modest in dress. They have asked ladies to try to cover their shoulders - you are more than welcome to wear a shawl for the ceremony and remove it for the reception. Men are requested to wear button-down shirts as well. Please reach out to me (Mariel) if you have any questions about this request.

What is the parking situation?

Answer

For the ceremony, there is a parking garage at the church that guests can use. It is located just behind the church off Jackson St. For the reception, parking is available in the 601 Travis Garage across the street from the venue. Both locations are easy to Uber to, and if you're staying in a hotel downtown, you can also walk to each venue. There will also be a shuttle available for anyone who needs to get a ride from the church to the venue while the wedding party is taking photos.
