The couple was actually introduced by the Best Man! Mariah was at a bar near Oostburg, WI one night with her friends when Ray came up to her and said "I think you should meet my buddy Zach! Give me your number." With the Bride already knowing Ray, she went against her better judgement and passed her number along. Ray gave Zach the number and the next day, the first text was sent. They went on their first date a week later and were in a relationship within a month!

It was a Sunday in December and the Milwaukee Domes had their annual Christmas display. Zach knew Mariah had been wanting to go so he set up a date night. There were so many families getting their Christmas photos taken that it took awhile getting to the perfect spot. Once they made their way over to the gazebo, while overlooking the giant Christmas tree, Zach told Mariah he loved her and got down on one knee. She immediately started crying and said "YES". Zach had to tell Mariah to not ruin her makeup because he had hired a photographer who captured the amazing moment. We are so excited to celebrate the next chapter of our lives with you!
