FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving 30 minutes before our 10:30 AM ceremony. This extra time will allow you to comfortably park, locate your seat, and get settled without feeling rushed. Since parking can be complex, we've prepared a comprehensive parking guide on our wedding website to ensure you navigate the area with ease.

Question

I’m worried about parking! What should I do?

Answer

Because the wedding takes place in historic downtown Charleston, we recommend using rideshare services such as Uber or Lyft for guests who may not feel comfortable navigating or parking downtown. For those who prefer to drive, recommended parking locations can be found on the Parking section of this website, where we have listed several nearby garages and pay lots reserved for guests. Guests who choose to drive should note that parking will require a walk of several blocks. Please allow ample time to get seated before we begin.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We recommend attire that's festive and polished—think Easter Sunday but please reserve white for the bride :)

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the event. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!
