We encourage guests to wear elegant, formal attire, with black tie optional as the preferred dress code for the evening. Women are welcome to wear floor‑length gowns, and gentlemen are encouraged to wear tuxedos or black suits if they have them. Formal attire of a similar style is, of course, perfectly welcome.
We’ve put together a list of nearby hotels and accommodations to make your planning easier. You’ll find all the details—including room blocks and other great options—on our Travel tab. Be sure to check it out to find the best fit for your stay.
While transportation is not included, all of the hotels listed on our Travel page are conveniently located within a two‑block radius of The Crystal Tea Room. Everything is an easy walk, making it simple to get to and from the celebration at your own pace.
If you’re driving to The Crystal Tea Room, parking is available in the garage located beneath The Wanamaker Building. The entrance can be found on Juniper Street, between Penn Square and Chestnut Street. From Penn Square, bear right onto Juniper Street and the garage will be on your left. For guests staying at one of the hotels listed on our Travel tab, most locations offer their own parking garages for your convenience. If you have any questions or need assistance, please reach out to us and let us know.
We kindly suggest that guests arrive at 5:00 PM. This will give you plenty of time to get settled comfortably before the ceremony begins. When you arrive, venue staff will be ready to greet you and guide you up to the 9th floor, so finding your way will be easy and stress‑free.
We love your little ones, but our wedding events will be an adults‑only celebration. We made this decision to keep the evening relaxed, enjoyable, and focused on celebrating with all of you. Thank you so much for understanding — it truly means a lot to us.
