Thank you for being part of our Love Story!!

We lived only 3 hours away from each other, were in the same town almost every weekend, and didn't meet until I moved three states over. But God knew what He was doing. He knew when to allow our paths to cross and that we would be perfect for each other when we did. We met by chance through a group on FaceBook - a group that we happened to both be on but wasn't active. He took a chance on sending a friend request. I took a chance on accepting it. I wish I could say that it started from there, but I would be lying. Though we talked briefly (like three days briefly lol), God knew that wasn't the right time. A month and a half later we decided to talk as friends. I had just moved to Alabama and he was living in Texas, but we had a connection. We were there for each other as friends and that was what we each needed. That's what made all the difference. Fastforward to the first meeting/date. I'd be lying if I didn't say I wasn't nervous lol. We had "planned" everything that we were going to do together. Where we were going to meet, where we were going to eat, what we were going to do, even a general time of when we were going to say our goodbyes. And nothing went as planned 🤦🏼‍♀️ Our nice walk on the Boardwalk turned into a rainy one. Our day outside turned into a last minute trip to the aquarium. Even our plan to enjoy ice cream together turned into a melty mistake (because who knew that trying to eat ice cream outside in Louisiana with 100% humidity would turn out to be a disaster 😂). But through all of the "fails", the day was better than we could've ever planned. We laughed and joked so much that there was no room for nerves. By the end of the day - which went way longer than originally planned and was two meals together instead of one - we were officially dating (despite Zach telling me that he wasn't going to ask me that day lol). Time and distance hasn't always been our friend in our relationship, but I can honestly say that the distance has made us closer. Every moment we spend together is a little sweeter because of the distance. Our Love has grown deeper with each passing day and we're excited to see where God is going to bring us next. It's time for a new chapter in our lives: a chapter as husband and wife!!
