A Brothers approval of a guy for his little sister is never easy... So when he arranges you to meet and approves without you knowing each other it has to be fate right? On January 2017, Mike (Jamie's Brother) and Tess (Sister N Law) invited us on a snowmobile trip as complete strangers. We continued hanging out through the year and exactly one year later after we met, on January 5, 2018 our journey as a couple began.

It was Christmas Eve when everything happened. We had enjoyed a nice dinner at his Grandpas house at the lake with the family. After awhile we made our way back home. Zack hurried inside and said he would come back to help me carry things in the house. I made my way inside slowly picking up decorations that had fallen, realizing there were no lights on throughout the house. I asked Zack a question and he responded from the living room. Then making my way into the kitchen, I realized there was an unusually bright glow from our living room. I went into our living room and there it was, there was Christmas lights and flowers all over, a heart made of rose petals on the floor, the Christmas Star (that week you could see this in the sky) and most importantly a large lit up sign he made that said "Marry Me". There he was down on his knee holding a ring in his hand. It was the most beautiful proposal. Better than I could ever have imagined... and I said YES!
