It all started with what we thought was just a simple game night with some friends that ended in a high five (romance at its finest). A few days later, we met again at church and Zach clearly trying to redeem himself, stood arms wide open with a warm and welcoming hug. Somewhere between debating pineapple and black olives on pizza (eventually he got on board) We ended up at Trumbull Cafe. Zach paid (green flag), and our adventure continued to Short Beach where we sat for five hours. Five hours asking the same questions in different ways, laughing, learning each other, and talking about everything and nothing all at once. And the next day was somehow even better... The very next day, we went to Pepe's Pizza and spent another 7 hours (which felt like 1) talking, but this time, with purpose. Every conversation, every laugh, every pause felt so intentional, looking back now realizing that, that was the Lord in his ever so perfect timing guiding our hearts towards exactly where they were meant to be. It didn't take very long for us to realize that God had answered every prayer we'd ever prayed all at once, and we made it official 3 days later! And from then until now, we have spent every single day thanking the Lord for blessing us ABUNDANTLY by bringing one another into each others lives. And as we enter this next chapter, we trust that the best is yet to come, and we can't wait to share it with all of you!
