Why are there two celebrations, one in Boulder and one in Kansas City?

Answer

We’re doing our wedding in a way that feels right for us. Boulder is where we will officially tie the knot in an intimate ceremony with our closest people. We didn’t expect or want everyone we love to have to travel, so the larger celebration in Kansas City is where all our friends and family can be there to celebrate with us. Think of Boulder as the “I do” and Kansas City as the big celebration that follows.

Do I need to attend both events?

Answer

Not at all. You were kindly invited to celebrate with us at both the Boulder and Kansas City events, but we are completely understanding if you are unable to attend both. We know travel and time commitments can be challenging. Please just join us for whichever event makes the most sense for you. We simply want to celebrate with you in whatever way you can!

Can I bring a plus-one?

Please refer to your RSVP page to see if a plus one was included. We have worked hard to keep both celebrations intimate and intentional, so guest lists may vary by event.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available at the ceremony AND reception. Please see the schedule page for information related to parking at the ceremony venue.

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Rain or shine, our ceremony will proceed as planned. Our reception venue is fully indoors, so no worries about the weather!

Will food or alcohol be provided at the after-party in Boulder?

Answer

We're thrilled to host our after-party celebration at our Bridal Party AirBNB! We'll be serving light bites and dessert for all our guests to enjoy. While we'll have a selection of beer and seltzers available, feel free to bring your favorite drink to add to the festivities.

Will there be a shuttle to the venue from the hotel in Boulder or Kansas City?

Answer

Boulder, CO No, the bridal party will have transportation to and from the ceremony venue in Boulder, but other guests are responsible for their own travel. We recommend carpooling if you are staying with a group. Kansas City, MO For our Kansas City events, all guests (including the bridal party) are responsible for their own travel. There are several reliable transits and rideshare services available throughout the metro area to help you get to the celebration safely.
