Question

What should we wear?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place outdoors in July, followed by an air-conditioned indoor reception. We’d love for our family and friends to dress in formal or semi-formal attire as we celebrate this special day together. We encourage you to embrace summer style with soft florals, subtle patterns, flowing fabrics, textured details, and beautiful seasonal colors for a light and elegant look. Feel free to wear any color that makes you feel confident and beautiful, just kindly avoid jeans, shorts, and white attire.

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we kindly request no children at the ceremony or reception except for immediate family members. We hope you’ll take this as an opportunity to enjoy a fun date night filled with food, fun, and dancing with us!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate the guests formally listed on your wedding invitation. If you have been given a plus-one, it will be indicated on your invitation and shown when you RSVP.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

There are two hotels located right in Waverly for guests to choose from Cobblestone Inn and Suites and Quality Inn. We have a room block reserved at Cobblestone Inn and Suites. Please check the Travel page for details on how to book within our block. We recommend reserving your room early as availability can fill quickly.

Question

Parking & Transportation

Answer

On-site parking will be available for guests. Please note that transportation will not be provided following the reception, so we kindly ask guests to plan ahead and make safe travel arrangements.

Question

Will the events be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors, followed by the reception indoors. We recommend dressing and preparing for outdoor summer weather.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend guests arrive 15–30 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow ample time for parking and seating.

Question

Will there be snacks before dinner?

Answer

Yes! Cocktail hour will begin immediately following the ceremony at approximately 4:45 PM. Guests are invited to enjoy drinks, light snacks, and time to mingle before the reception officially begins.

Question

What time will dinner be served?

Answer

Dinner is expected to be served at approximately 6:00 PM, following grand introductions and first dances.
