Where are you taking your honeymoon?

Answer

We will be renting a cabin from June 9-15th at Shakamak State Park. Anyone is welcome to join us for part of or all of that time at their own campsite! Join us for a hike, water activities or pool day! We can’t wait to spend that week hiking, swimming, kayaking and enjoying breath taking views (and s’mores).

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes- we are providing an open bar for beer and wine. The bar does have other types of alcohol for purchase if you would like to bring cash to purchase other drinks for yourself.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Wedding casual. Try to look nice, but dress comfortably enough that you can bust a move or relax with family and friends!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on the site when you RSVP’d.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 2:30pm, but please arrive at 2pm so that we may have everyone seated and started on time.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of free party right at the location.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If your child was included in your invitation when you RSVP’d then they are welcome. This is a child friendly wedding but we only have room for guests who received an invitation due to cost and space limitations.

Will food be served?

Answer

We will have food during cocktail hour as well as dinner and cake.

What time will the reception be over?

Answer

The reception will conclude at 10pm so we can have the venue cleaned up and closed down within the terms of our contract.
