When and where is the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will take place on October 24th, 2025 at The Upchurch Venue in Cary, NC. The ceremony starts at 4:30PM, followed by a reception at the same venue with dinner and drinks.

Is everything in the same location?

Answer

Yes, our ceremony and reception will all be located at The Upchurch venue. You can look at https://www.theupchurchvenue.com/spaces to see the layout of the site.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is ample parking on site at the venue to accommodate all of our guests comfortably.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The reception and ceremony will feature both indoor and outdoor elements, but weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outdoors.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire! We would love for you to dress up and celebrate with us in semi-formal style - think dresses, jumpsuits, suits, or dress shirts and slacks. Just make sure you are comfortable enough to dance the night away with us! :)

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, there will be a place to share who your plus one will be when you RSVP. If you don't, please respect our wishes as we are trying to keep our wedding as intimate as possible. Thank you for your understanding!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love children, we are keeping our special day as an adult-only occasion and will include the names of the children who are invited. We encourage you to use this evening as a "night out" for yourself!

Will you be reserving a hotel block for people coming from out of town?

Answer

Yes! We've reserved a courtesy block at Courtyard Raleigh Cary/Parkside Town Commons. Please book as soon as possible using the link on our Travel page to secure a room for the wedding.

Can I take pictures with my phone?

Answer

While we want all of our guests to create and have wonderful memories of this experience, we do prefer minimal phone usage and instead enjoy being in the moment. We also ask that you turn off your electronics during our ceremony to ensure you are in the moment and not in the way of our photographers. After the ceremony is complete and the wedding party has exited, you may turn on your devices and take pictures of whatever you wish!

What is the nearest/best airport to fly into?

Answer

Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) is the best airport to use for travel, it is located only 15 minutes away from the venue.

What kind of food and drinks will be served?

Answer

We're serving a buffet dinner with vegetarian and gluten-free options available. Let us know of any allergies when you RSVP. As for drinks, there will be an open bar with beer, wine, and house liquors. Enjoy responsibly!
