(Casey's Perspective) We originally met in Spanish class in high school. Let's just say we weren't the closest. A couple of years down the line, Zachary started working at one of the families restaurants, Bocca Lupo, as a host and I trained him. flash forward to 2017; Zachary shows up dressed to nines for an interview at another one of the families restaurants, Prime. I was on my way to help with interviews and got a call from my mom saying "you need to get here NOW! Zack with the smile is here" oh boy was she right about that smile. We had a brief interaction and like all the times before, it didn't last long. 6 months later it was my 21st birthday. I sent a text to my long-time acquaintance Zack to see if he still worked at the Daiquiri Deck so I could "casually run into him now that I can drink." He offered to take me to the beach on my birthday because after all, "who else would you go to the beach with on your birthday but me?" Apparently he just couldn't wait to see me and spontaneously invited me kayaking a few days before that. On April 21, 2017, Zack asked me to go steady, starting this beautiful story of ours <3

*4/21/17- Started dating *8/11/2017- Got scuba certified *10/7/2017-11/15/17- Backpacking Panama & Costa Rica *2/2/19-3/18/19- Backpacking Western Europe *3/19/19-Moved in together *3/29/20-Moved to Colorado *4/3/21- Got ENGAGED! *4/8/21- Moved back to Florida *10/2/22- Getting married!

Zack recreated one of our first dates when we got to Colorado. The first stop was Spinelli's Deli for some salty meats and cheeses and then off to my favorite spot, Denver City Park. Zack asked the couple sitting next to us if they could take a picture of us only to find a photographer right behind them. As I'm trying to get my hair in order and my outfit photo-ready, Zachary stands in front of me and pulls out a box and begins the best speech with "Casey, you make me the happiest girl in the world" HAHAHA classic Zack always making me laugh. It was the perfect moment to seal off a crazy year!
