A love as "rare" as ours could only have begun at a Steakhouse. My family had just moved into the area, and it just so happened that my mom and his had been long time acquaintances. I doubt either Zach or myself would have guessed that a chance encounter at a restaurant after church would result in a close friendship much less something more. Little did I know that day I had just met the person that would become my best friend and future husband. I guess that just goes to show you never know what tiny thing might change your life forever.
Forest Park. Art Hill. Go look at some pictures. A beautiful spot for a beautiful woman. I never imagined I would enjoy proposing with family and friends standing around, but the more I thought about it the more it made sense. Along the path Candra and I walked stood those closest to her, ready to present a card about how important she was to them, signifying they were saying yes to this proposal. Each of them stood in a different spot. Including my spot at the end of the walk, we made five stops that day. They say the typical individual only has five meaningful relationships at any given time in their lives. Who's to say the validity of that, but regardless, I'm ecstatic to say I will always hold one of those spots in this beautiful woman's life.
