Our room block at the Thompson Hotel is available from Thursday, 8/28 to Sunday, 8/31 for out-of-town guests. The Thompson is located in the heart of the Gold Coast and walking distance to great restaurants, bars, and shopping, plus beautiful Lake Michigan. It's also a quick trip to and from the wedding venue. If the room block is fully booked, please text us so we can open up additional rooms at the discounted rate!

Flight

O'Hare (ORD) or Midway (MDW)

O'Hare and Midway are both great options for getting into the city. Midway is smaller and has fewer flight options, but both airports are about the same distance from downtown. For convenience, ‘L’ trains connect each airport directly to the city: the Blue Line from O'Hare and the Orange Line from Midway. Ride shares, taxis, and airport shuttles are also readily available, though traffic can vary depending on the time of day so make sure to plan accordingly.
