Zach and Brittani met while they were in college at Salem State University. They began working on a theatre production together, and on the first day, Brittani dropped all of her books (typical). Zach gallantly assisted her, and upon inspection, realized one of them was Walt Whitman's "Leaves of Grass". He handed it back to her, and asked, "You read Walt Whitman?". And that was the beginning of a beautiful love. They talked about poetry, books, theatre, and were instantly smitten. The next time they saw each other, Zach tricked Brittani into going on their first date on what she would later realize was his 21st birthday (she also did not know it was a date until he paid for the meal). While Brittani's Chipotle burrito fell apart, Zach took a call from "his mom" (that Brittani would later find out was *actually* from his mom) where he informed her that he would be home late that night because he was "on a date with a beautiful girl". Brittani thought there was no way he would tell his mom that over the phone, but gave him the benefit of the doubt. After dinner, she invited Zach to her dorm for a t.v. viewing party with friends. At the end of the night, Brittani walked Zach outside of her dorm, and insisted on walking him to his car. Zach refused, but sealed the night with a kiss. From that day on, they have been inseparable. Seven years later, they live together, have their sweet pup, Ollie, and can't wait to keep building their lives together.
