FAQs

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Adult-Only Celebration! While we love your little ones, we kindly ask that our wedding be an adults-only event, with an exception for our flower girl and ring bearer. We hope this will give you a chance to relax, celebrate, and enjoy the evening with us! Thank you for understanding, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

To keep our celebration intimate, we kindly ask that only those listed on the invitation attend. If a plus one was included, it will be noted on your invitation. Thank you for understanding as we plan this special day, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is semi-formal! For men, this typically means dress slacks or chinos (no jeans) with a dress button-up shirt and blazer, or a suit without a tie. Loafers or dress shoes complete the look. For women, options include knee-length or midi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or skirts paired with a nice blouse. Please note, the wedding party will be wearing Sage Green. If possible, avoid wearing Sage Green and White! P.S. Keep in mind it will be mid October so the weather is hard to predict for CT! Our ceremony will be outside, and a light jacket may be needed. Reception will be help indoors.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you arrive at 3:30 PM to ensure enough time to find seats and get all guests settled for a 4 PM ceremony start time.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered with Zola and other stores like Amazon and Target! Click the Registry page above or more information!

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes! There is an open bar for 5 hours for all your drink needs! This includes, water, soft drinks, beer, wine and liquor. Please drink responsibly, and plan accordingly if you will need a ride home.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! The Riverview has plenty of regular and handicap parking for all guests.
