We couldn't think of a better place to celebrate! Here are a few things we love about Boise and the surrounding areas - a stunning mountain backdrop, a buzzing food scene, gorgeous river trails, and some of the most dramatic wilderness in the American West right around the corner. We encourage everyone to stay downtown and make a proper adventure of it. We can't wait to see you!

Table Rock Hike Boise’s classic hike, with panoramic views of the city and valley. Best at sunrise or golden hour. Freak Alley Gallery A colorful outdoor art alley between 8th and 9th Street, featuring murals and rotating work by local artists. Boise River Greenbelt A 25-mile path along the Boise River connecting parks, public art, and neighborhoods. In summer, you can rent a tube and float the river. Hyde Park A charming North End neighborhood with great cafés, bars, and restaurants. 8th Street Pedestrian District The heart of downtown Boise, lined with patios, boutiques, coffee shops, and some of the city’s best restaurants. The Basque Block A unique downtown district celebrating Boise’s Basque heritage, with excellent food, wine, and the Basque Museum & Cultural Center.

McCall

Perched on the shore of Payette Lake in the Payette National Forest, McCall is Idaho's quintessential mountain escape. Spend the day hiking, paddling, exploring the shops on the main drag, and watching the sun go down over the water.

Redfish Lake and Stanley Idaho

~2.5 hours north, ID

Nestled in the Sawtooth Mountains, Redfish Lake is one of Idaho’s most beautiful places. The crystal-clear lake is surrounded by dramatic peaks, and the historic Redfish Lake Lodge offers cabins, boat rentals, dining, and sunset cruises. Just a few minutes away, Stanley is a charming mountain town with whitewater rafting on the Salmon River and the beloved Stanley Baking Company.

Sun Valley

Sun Valley is Idaho’s most iconic mountain town and a favorite summer destination for hiking, biking, fly fishing, and horseback riding. Nearby Ketchum offers great restaurants, shops, and galleries, all surrounded by stunning scenery. The drive over Galena Summit is especially beautiful, with incredible views of the Sawtooth Mountains.
