Your typical college romance. It all started in the third floor common room of our dorm the second month of school. It was 3 a.m. and a small group was hanging out. Anna noticed a goofy guy with a great smile. Zach saw a tall girl with beautiful blue eyes that never stopped laughing. We started playing ping pong together without a table and using flipflops as paddles. A couple weeks later Anna invited Zach to her first sorority event, where we bonded over out inability to dance. From there the rest is history.

We were back in SLO, or SLOme, for our 6 year anniversary. We were headed to a great view spot with our favorite sandwich shop lunch in hand. It was a chilly morning, so of course Anna was in sweatpants and jacket. Zach asked if Anna wanted to change into something nicer, then asked again, and again. This got Anna thinking, as usually he doesn't care, but she agreed and we headed to our picnic. After an hour, and only 10 minutes till we needed to leave for a winery reservation, Zach finally realized it was now or never. Talking about our weekend plans, he oh so smoothly says, "Well this isn't part of the itinerary..." and gets down on one knee!
