Our Story

Right Place at the Right Time

It was the summer of 2021, Amy was interning at a beef plant in Greeley, Colorado and Zach was repairing wind turbines in New Raymer, Colorado (an hour distance). Amy and Zach met online out of chance. Their first date started by meeting for lunch at a very sketchy Mexican restaurant. They hit it off so well that by the time they realized, it was dinner time. So, they decided to go dinner at a well-known Italian restaurant in Greeley. They weren't sure if they would meet again since Zach's job was finishing up and Amy only had 3 more weeks interning. Before leaving Colorado that summer, they had managed to go on a couple more dates. On that last date, they agreed to continue their relationship long distance as Zach went back to Tennessee and Amy to Louisiana. They did long distance for a year until Amy graduated from LSU and moved to Greeley in May of 2022, to start her career in the beef industry. That August, Zach moved to Greeley to be with Amy. Amy and Zach continued to make memories living in Colorado with their two pups: Remi and Ruger. Recently, they decided to move to Amy's hometown in Louisiana and start a new chapter in their lives! Favorite Memories: A few of Amy and Zach's favorite memories from their time together: Attending many concerts, wine tasting in Estes Park, CO, drives in the Rocky Mountain National Park, watching the sunset in Moraine Park, going fishing and crabbing on the bayou, and playing with the dogs in the pool. The Proposal: Amy and Zach's proposal was a perfect day that lead a perfect ending. On a Sunday in October, Amy wanted to go wine tasting in Estes Park and Zach took that as a perfect opportunity! They spent the afternoon wine tasting and decided to go into the Rocky Mountain National Park to watch the sunset at their favorite spot in Moraine Park. It was just like any other afternoon they have done in Estes Park, so Amy didn't suspect a thing. They arrived at their favorite spot in the meadow and Zach waited until right at sunset to get down on one knee. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day. We can't wait to celebrate with you at our wedding ceremony and reception in January!
