Lauren and Zac met how most people that are millennials meet, online. Lauren was finishing her last semester of law school and Zac was enjoying working at Anthem and playing basketball with his friends. Lauren liked that Zac was intelligent, corny enough to make her laugh, and sweet. Zac liked that Lauren was refreshingly reserved, kind, and a bit awkward. They spent practically every day with each other. Lauren teaching Zac the elements of defamation while studying for the bar exam and Zac trying to make a quick come up by doing Nielsen surverys. Lauren started to realize just how strong her feelings were when she spent a week away from Zac going on vacation. Lauren was on a cruise and had no phone service. She realized just how much she missed him and didn't want to be without him again. For Zac, it was watching Lauren pack up her U-Haul and leave him behind to start her career in New Mexico. Their love had them going at a fast pace and before they could catch their breath, Zane entered the picture. They faced many challenges in the beginning of their relationship but their love never wavered.
