Can we bring kiddos and babies to the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We would love to see the whole family! We will also have a "kids cave" that includes a kids meal, disney movies, and other things to keep them entertained. Please keep in mind that kids under 10 will not get their own place setting at a guest table.

What is the venue like?

Answer

Garey House is a newer, very well kept house on acres of land. The back yard and patio area are open, and there is a pond on location with a deck, so keep that in mind if you have small children who have not taken swimming lessons of any kind. If you have any other questions about the venue please let us know!

Is there free parking?

Answer

Yes! there is parking for all guests, but any opportunity you have to carpool or Uber would help ensure we all have a place to park.

Where do I go once I enter the Park?

Answer

Drive through until you reach the security booth. If there is someone there, let them know you are a guest of the Powell/Newman wedding. Once you drive past the booth, keep driving until you see the house. Parking is to the right.

Will there be gluten free or vegan options for dinner?

Answer

We will be serving Paella, which is all gluten free. We will have a chicken, mixed (seafood, poultry, beef. pork), AND a veggie Paella which is Vegan.

No.

Are there ride-share options in Georgetown, Texas?

Answer

Yes! You can Uber or Lyft from your hotel... that way everyone stays safe:)

Will there be alcohol at the reception?

Answer

Yes, we will be serving beer, wine, and our signature cocktail at the wedding. Please bring cash to tip our awesome bartender, other than that... it's on us!:)

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress is "Black Tie Optional", which means we prefer semi-formal to formal attire (mainly for family portraits and group pictures)... Please no denim jeans. That being said, what is most important to us is that you are comfortable. Come dressed to have a great time and take great pictures!:)
