Meet Us In New Orleans!

Zach and I both went to Valdosta State, just not at the same time. He was there in 2014, and I got there in 2017. Somehow, we completely missed each other… until 2019, when mutual friends (and a well-timed Instagram DM 👀) finally brought us together. We hung out for the first time in January 2020, and not too long after, the world basically shut down. While everyone else was figuring out quarantine, we were… spending a lot of time together 😭 What started as something chill quickly turned into something real. On September 12, 2020, Zach took me to Bay Breeze Seafood and asked me to be his girlfriend.... and yes, I said yes (even though he chose Bay Breeze lol 🤭). But to be fair, our very first date was earlier that year at Lazy Dog Restaurant… which definitely set the tone a little better. Fast forward a few years later, and many memories in between, on April 12, 2025, after starting the day back at Lazy Dog where it all began, Zach completely surprised me and proposed in the most beautiful way. Surrounded by our family and friends, with a setup I’ll never forget, it was everything I could have imagined and more.
