Fall is the perfect time of year to visit the Farmers & Crafts Market of Las Cruces. Their hours are Saturdays 8:30am-1pm.
Dripping Springs Natural Area
The Dripping Springs Natural Area is located just 10 miles east of Las Cruces in the Organ Mountains–Desert Peaks National Monument. If there’s anytime to explore the outdoors in Las Cruces, it’s in October.
Aguirre Spring Recreation Area
Located on the East side of the Organ Mountains. ~20 minutes from Las Cruces. Breathtaking in the fall and also the brides favorite view of the mountains ;)
White Sands National Park
White Sands National Park in New Mexico protects the world's largest gypsum dunefield, a surreal landscape of shimmering white sand dunes in the Tularosa Basin. It’s ~45 minutes from Las Cruces.
