Madi is Zach's younger sister and became friends with Shawna through Bible Study Fellowship shortly before Zach and Shawna met. With a little help from Amber, Madi nudged Zach and Shawna together and Shawna is so excited to gain a sweet sister.
Jessica Post

Jessica works at Mission Possible! Austin which is where she met Shawna who volunteers there regularly. The two friends often enjoy long late night conversations to catch up and Shawna loves helping Jessica with Mission Possible's kids programs and camps. And for a small period of time they also owned a small craft business together!
Shae Moreau
Bridesmate (They/Them)
Shae, who uses the pronouns they/them, is the younger of Shawna's two older siblings. They had many adventures growing up together like regular trips to Dairy Queen, family trips to Paris, a punk-rock band with their dad and whispering before bed at night when they were supposed to be sleeping. Shae now lives in Arizona where they work as a licensed counselor.
Shaney Swift

Shaney is Shawna's oldest sister. When Shaney got married nearly 8 years ago, she asked Shawna to help with wedding hair. This helped launch Shawna on the path that eventually led to cosmetology school. Shaney now lives in Chicago with her husband and two kiddos.
Zana Trunick

Zana and Shawna were quite the duo in high school- both as friends and as speech partners in a speech and debate league. When they weren't at speech tournaments they loved to adventure around Texas and have frequent sleepovers.
Amber Finch

Amber and Shawna have been friends since high school speech and debate. They were excited to bump into each other again at Bible Study Fellowship were they both ended up in leadership. When they ended up paired together in a group they began weekly prayer sessions which lasted for 3 years. During that time both Amber and Shawna met their future spouses and Amber got engaged just 4 months before Shawna and married to her husband Austin this January- just months before Zach and Shawna are getting married now! This timeline worked out partly due to Amber's keen match-making skills ;)
Danny Clark
Best Man
Danny, Zach's father and best man has always been one of his number one supporters. From introducing him to the delights of his first cup of coffee to deep debates over theology, Danny has been there through all his his major life events. He is Zach's trusted adviser, confidant, supporter, and friend.
Xinbo Chen
Groomsman
Zach and Xinbo met in college in a computer science lab of one of their instructors. Though both reserved, they quickly formed a friendship that extended outside of the lab. He introduced Xinbo to his parents and sister and not long after Xinbo became part of the family and a staple at family dinners and on trips. Their kindred spirits, planned joint inventions and quality time has forged a friendship that's going on over 7 years now.

When Zach started his first job in San Antonio little did he know he would meet one of his best friends. Of course they had work in common, but as they got to know each other they found more commonalities like the video games that they would either cheer one another on in or threaten to demolish each other in healthy competition. Though they live farther away from each now, they maintain their close friendship and support each other in every way.
Brian Clark

Brian is Zach's older brother. When Zach was a teenager, Brian spent hours on the phone with him, remotely guiding him through building his first PC, and kickstarted Zach's lifelong love for computers and technology. Though older than him, Brian watched Zach grow from a little kid he could take care of, to an adult he could discuss programming dilemmas with. Hours long discussions (like 3 hours!) giving each other advice, reviewing games together, and harshly critiquing the latest movies has spanned the gap of their age and made them not just brothers, but friends.
Aaron Centenno

Zach got introduced to Aaron through his sister Madi. Through passing conversation they both realized they had a lot of overlap in their interests. They'd discuss the latest going on in their lives, the video games they enjoyed, the newest advances they thought were cool, and through many hours together they formed a friendship of deep care and support for one another.
Alex Watts

Though Alex and Zach haven't known each other as long, that hasn't had an impact on the depth of their friendship. Also being introduced by his sister, the two realized they both had an interest in health, fitness, video games, technology, and memes! This lead to many conversations about the intricacies of nutrition, working out, and their other interests that then turned into conversations about life and their aspirations for their future.
