Coors Field has great views of the mountains along 1st base. If you're coming in early, on Sept. 17th and 18th the Rockies are playing the Arizona Diamondbacks at home (Tues/Wed). You can get tickets at low as $10 (as of April 2024).
There are some concerts on Wed & Thurs (Sept. 18th and Sept. 19th) but the Amphitheatre is open during the day for free to walk around, take in views or find a trail. You can see views of Denver from the top! If you're excited for a workout, try the stairs. If you're there for the vibes, there is a parking lot on top.
Coors is a staple in Colorado! Sign up for a free tour in advance (they fill up fast) to see how the beer is bottled with Rocky Mountain water.
Colorado has Air Force Academy, a Space Force base, Blue Origin offices etc. This museum is close to the venue and the hotels, a great look for you and your family.
Colorado is famous for the 'Inclines' we have! The Manitou Incline, Challenge Hill, Stairway to Heaven and Bishop Castle... this one is a little more manageable while still being challenging and right by the venue/hotels!
If you're looking for a quick trip into the Mountains, Idaho Springs is about 45 minutes away from Denver. There are cute restaurants/shopping (mostly Colorado stuff) and the best pizza spot, Beau Joe's. You can also do a Mine tour there and there are places along I-70 on your way if you do some simple searches. Enjoy the waterfall!
