Emily and I met in college, a long time ago at Morehead State University (the first time I was there). We became instant friends, and we've been through more than I care to admit. She's stood by me through so much and I can't imagine not having her there. And this is probably the face she makes at me the most.

We were at L'Arche together! So many memories, so little space. I'll upload a much better picture some day soon. Having Britta as my friend is one of my greatest gifts in life. There is nothing like knowing you have a friend who will stay up late with you and chow down on watermelon while you both cry about the pandemic.

We lived at L'Arche together! Our rooms were next to each other, and it was so comforting to know that next to me was a brilliant, strong, loving woman who could listen, and give me a kick in the pants when I needed it. Not to mention, her ability to do crafty things is out of this world!!

Daisy and I were at L'Arche together! We met on one of my first days, and we shared a room together on house vacation! Daisy was the first person I confided in that there was this really cute man that I desperately wanted to know better. She was one of the first people to hear about the date, and I still think she knew what she was doing when she didn't go to ZooLights with us! Just kidding (mostly). Still, her encouragement was crucial in Zach and I both pushing through our shyness and fear to see how beautiful this thing could be.

Severin is my older brother by 3 1/2 years. We might look alike especially in the hair department, but we are probably 2 of the most different people that you could meet. Even still he is a person that will always be there for me and I am so happy that he is my best man.

I met Joe last year while doing a volunteer year in the JVC. Over that time I grew to know Joe as one of the most caring people that I had ever met. We bonded over the flash and even though he scared me half to death in a gorilla costume, I am so happy that he is sharing this day with me.
Jimmie Hill

I met Jimmie during my time at Harvard. I did not always have the best time while I was in college. And while I was in one of my lonelier times in college, Jimmie helped me find a place that I felt I belonged to and I will always feel thankful for that. I am so glad he is sharing this day with me.
