Your flight will arrive at the Rafael Núñez International Airport (CTG), it is conveniently located about 10-20 minutes from the Hilton Hotel. As a U.S traveler you will need a VALID PASSPORT and an online pre-registration immigration form called “Check-Mig”.
Colombia uses the Colombian Peso (COP). While some places accept credit cards, especially in restaurants and hotels, carrying some cash in pesos is helpful for taxis, street vendors, tips, and small purchases. You can exchange at the airport
Cartagena is hot, humid, and tropical, with daytime temperatures around 86–90°F and warm, balmy evenings.
Official airport taxis (available right outside arrivals with set fares) or a ride-share service like Uber or DiDi are the best ways to get to your hotel.
We recommend checking your phone’s international plan before arriving. Another easy option is to buy a local SIM card or eSIM in Colombia for affordable data and internet access.
