FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. We will all be in our Sunday best. Please dress up nice (modest dresses and suits/tuxes) for the Mass/ceremony and the reception.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The Mass and wedding ceremony are by far the most important part of the day for both of us. This is when we officially marry each other and become husband and wife. Please be respectful of the importance of the Mass and arrive at least 10min early, so by 3:50pm.

Question

Why are the Mass and ceremony so important?

Answer

We are making a vow, a promise, to each other during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. It is in the Mass that we will become husband and wife, not during the reception. This promise is not something we take lightly. We want you all to see just how necessary the Mass is and the the importance of God's grace we will need to live out our marriage vows every day.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is free both at the church as well as the golf course. The parking lots are very large, so there should be ample space.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have rooms blocked at the AmericInn in Ham Lake and the Wingate hotel in Coon Rapids. See our Hotels page on the website for more info.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

For the hotel we have rooms blocked for in Ham Lake, yes. Not for the hotel in Coon Rapids.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

All of the places we are registered for are connected through Zola. If you take a look at our registry page on the website here, you'll see what to choose from between Amazon, Etsy, Menards, and Bed Bath and Beyond. Clicking on the individual items will take you to the websites for more details and purchase options.

Question

Will the church or venue require masks?

Answer

Nope...Unless anything drastic changes with Covid and the world gets close to ending again (in which case we would still get married), you will not need to wear masks at all on our wedding day.
