Plenty of places to eat and shop local, or walk around and admire the cutest historic houses right next door! We visit the Village District often, and the residential area right beside the shops used to be Michaela's daily running path.
While North Hills is similar to the Village District, the shops + restaurants are all different! They also have a movie theater if you're looking for a place to see a movie while you're here.
If you've visited us in Raleigh before, we've definitely taken you to RBG. This is our favorite spot to meet friends for drinks in downtown Raleigh! The backyard is full of picnic tables, fire pits, and games.
Admittedly, Zach and I have never been here (we're not huge museum-goers), but we've heard it's wonderful! If you like museums, we recommend you check it out.
Raleigh is full of beautiful parks, this is just one of them!
Not in Raleigh, but worth the drive. This is our favorite (not an exaggeration) burger in the world. We'll have a list of local restaurants that we love for any of your meals while you're in town, but if you can build a trip to Al's into your itinerary, you'll be glad. Order a Kenny J and fries, and thank us later :)
If you're standing in Fred Fletcher park, you're in the backyard of our first apartment together! We loved living right next to the park and walked through those trails more times than we can count.
