We met about eight years ago on our first day of college, standing in the library waiting for our class to start. After three years of friendship, we went on a date for ice cream (the first of many). What was supposed to be a quick catch-up turned into hours of talking and laughing, and we haven't been apart since. Five years later, we've built a life together with a home and a cat, and are looking forward to whatever comes next.

Zach proposed on our fourth anniversary in the same place we had our first date. After a long walk along the river, Zach found a secluded spot right by the water and pulled out the ring. We spent the rest of the day telling our friends and family the news, drinking champagne, and eating takeout Thai food.
